Back by delicious demand! The First Course is our signature wine and cheese event series—equal parts fun, flavorful, and educational. For this edition, we’re thrilled to welcome special guest Erin Clancy from the award-winning Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company and to showcase beautifully paired wines from California’s iconic Duckhorn Vineyards.
Erin brings over 18 years of experience in the cheese world, with a career that spans retail, education, events, and creamery sales. An ACS Certified Cheese Professional, Erin currently serves as the Midwest Sales & Business Development Manager at Point Reyes and sits on the American Cheese Society Board of Directors. She’s also a proud member of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers and Les Dames d'Escoffier International (Minnesota chapter). Her passion for cheese, storytelling, and artisan craftsmanship is sure to make this tasting an unforgettable experience.
The wines for this pairing come from the legendary Duckhorn family of labels—renowned for their elegant expressions of Napa Valley and beyond. From bright, fruit-forward whites to silky reds with signature California character, Duckhorn and Decoy wines are carefully crafted to complement food and elevate flavor.
